Barber-CART Scholarship Shootout Fast Approaching

David Jurca leaves Saturday, January 4th to Sebring, Florida for the 2003 Barber-CART shootout. Out of 16 drivers, four will be picked to compete in the 2003 Formula Dodge National Championship, the official amatuer series of CART. The shootout begins Monday January 6th and goes until Tuesday January 7th. Some of the activities in the shootout include driving a Dodge Viper, driving Formula Dodge racecars, and answering questions given by the judges. Here is a tentative schedule of events:

8:00 – 9:00 Meeting-Club Sebring (near start/finish tower)

9:00 – 12:00 Break into 2 groups-Skid Pad and Autocross Sessions

12:00 – 1:30 Lunch and Track orientation

1:30 – 5:00 On Track Activities
