Westwood Karting Round One

David Jurca was able to take part in the first round of the Westwood Karting Association. He participated in the ICA class. For that particular weekend, David used a prototype kart in which he only had one practice session to try and sort it out.

He ended up qualifying third but optimistic for the final races. In the prefinal, David moved up one position to second place but still had some work to do to catch first. For the final, David was able to lead for a few laps and eventually use lap traffic to his advantage to win the race.

After the race, David was quite pleased and said. “My new prototype ITALKART was beginning to work well and I am excited to use it more often in the future.
